For various infrastructure and construction projects in Zeeland, we are looking for an enthusiastic groundworker. You will work together with machine operators, supervisors, and colleagues to prepare construction and work sites. No two days are the same: from digging trenches to assisting with laying cables and pipes, you are a hands-on person who ensures the work is carried out properly.
What are you going to do?
Preparing construction and work sites for various infrastructure and construction projects
Digging trenches and pits (manually or with machine assistance)
Assisting crane operators with various excavation and construction work
Laying and connecting cables, pipes, and sewers
Leveling, compacting, and finishing soil for a solid foundation
Installation of catch basins, manholes, and bank protection
Performing light paving work
Ensure a safe and tidy workplace in accordance with the applicable safety regulations
Who are we looking for?
You have experience as a groundworker, or you are eager to learn the trade
You are physically fit and enjoy working outside in the fresh air
You can work well both independently and as part of a team
Driver's license B is required (Driver's license E is a major plus)
VCA certificate is preferred, or you are willing to obtain it
You live in Zeeland or the immediate vicinity
