What are you going to do as a concrete driller?
As a concrete driller, you are responsible for:
- Drilling holes, chases, and recesses in concrete, calcium silicate block, and other building materials
- Working from technical drawings and schematics
- Determining correct drilling points based on construction drawings
- Use of hand tools and power tools such as:
- Drills
- Core drills
- Angle grinders
- Installing fasteners to support structures
- Ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with applicable safety regulations
- Maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment
- Collaborating with other tradespeople such as masons, carpenters, and electricians
What we are looking for
- Demonstrable experience as a concrete driller or in a similar construction role
- Good knowledge of construction drawings and technical diagrams
- Experience with core drilling and concrete processing
- Knowledge of safety regulations on the construction site
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Physically fit and accustomed to working with heavy materials
- Experience with blueprints and schematics is a plus
